Striking Studio

1. Scope and Amendments of the Terms

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the legal relationship between the customer and Striking Studio, operated by IMPACT Martial Arts AG, Josefstrasse 92, 8005 Zurich, Switzerland (hereinafter referred to as “Striking Studio”). They apply to all services and offers provided by Striking Studio.

Striking Studio reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. Any amendments will be communicated to customers in an appropriate manner. Unless the customer objects in writing within 30 days, the amended terms shall be deemed accepted.

2. Services and Concept

Striking Studio offers coach-led group fitness classes based on boxing and kickboxing, combined with conditioning and functional training elements. Access to classes is provided either through credit-based packages or through monthly memberships.

Striking Studio reserves the right to adjust class schedules, instructors, training formats, and services at any time. Customers are not entitled to the availability of a specific instructor, class format, or time slot.

Changes to the schedule, instructors, or services do not entitle customers to refunds, compensation, or replacement sessions.

3. Credit Packs

Striking Studio offers credit-based packages that allow customers to book individual classes.

Credits are personal, non-transferable, and must be used within the specified validity period. The applicable validity period is defined at the time of purchase.

Unused credits expire automatically after the validity period and are non-refundable. No extensions, reimbursements, or transfers are granted for expired or unused credits.

Each class booking requires one (1) credit, which is deducted upon booking.

4. Memberships

Striking Studio offers monthly memberships that provide a fixed number of credits per billing cycle.

Memberships are billed on a recurring monthly basis and automatically renew unless cancelled. The allocated credits are credited to the customer’s account on the respective billing date.

Credits granted within a membership must be used within the corresponding billing cycle. Unused credits expire at the end of each billing period and do not carry over.

Memberships may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds or partial refunds are granted for the ongoing billing period.

5. Bookings and Participation

All classes must be booked in advance via the booking platform. Access to classes is only granted with a valid booking and sufficient credits.

If a customer cancels a booking late or does not attend a booked class, the corresponding credit may be forfeited.

Customers are required to follow all instructions given by staff and to adhere to the studio rules. Striking Studio reserves the right to deny access to customers who do not comply with these rules or who behave inappropriately.

6. Payments and Refund Policy

All purchases of credits and memberships are final. No refunds, partial refunds, or credits are granted once a purchase has been completed, regardless of usage.

7. Health and Participation

By participating in classes, customers confirm that they are physically fit and able to engage in high-intensity physical activity.

Participation is at the customer’s own risk. Customers are responsible for informing instructors of any injuries or health conditions prior to participation.

Participation is not permitted in the case of illness symptoms or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

8. Liability and Insurance

To the extent permitted by law, Striking Studio excludes all liability for injuries, damages, or loss of personal belongings arising from participation in its services.

Customers are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance coverage.

Striking Studio accepts no liability for lost or stolen personal items.

9. Media and Recordings

Audio, photo, and video recordings may be taken during classes for internal and marketing purposes.

Customers may object to the use of such recordings by submitting a written request. In such cases, no identifiable recordings of the customer will be used.

10. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws. By using the services, the customer agrees to the processing of their personal data for operational and communication purposes.

11. Final Provisions

Should any provision of these GTC be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects its economic intent.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These GTC are governed exclusively by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Zurich, Switzerland.
